Accessibility Statement
Last updated: 2026-06-21
KnowLocal by GroLocal (operated by Infonaut Ltd) wants everyone to be able to use KnowLocal, including people who rely on assistive technology. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 level AA.
1. What we do
- Semantic HTML with landmarks and a "skip to content" link on every page.
- Visible keyboard focus indicators, and interactive controls reachable by keyboard.
- Colour contrast checked against AA, in both our light and dark themes.
- A dark theme and respect for your system's reduced-motion preference — animations are reduced or removed when you ask your device to limit motion.
- Text that scales, responsive layouts down to small screens, and form fields with proper labels.
2. Known limitations
We're improving continuously and some areas may not yet fully meet AA — for example, parts of the internal admin tools (not used by customers) and some third-party embeds. If you hit a barrier, please tell us and we'll prioritise a fix.
3. Tell us about a problem
If something is hard to use, email privacy@knowlocal.io with the page and what happened. We treat accessibility issues as priority and will reply within a few working days.
4. This statement
This is a voluntary statement of intent and current status, not a legal certification. We review it as the product changes.
