How to delete your data (your right to erasure)

Your data is yours. Under UK GDPR you have the right to erasure, and we make it simple — no hoops, no retention games.

What we actually store

We keep only what’s needed to run your audit and (if you’re a member) your weekly programme: your email, the business you asked about, your audit results and reports, and — for Plus — your task progress. We never sell it, and we don’t share it for advertising.

How to ask us to delete it

Pick whichever is easiest:

  • Reply to any KnowLocal email (your code email, your report, or a weekly task) and ask us to delete your data. It reaches a real person.
  • Email sree.durairaj@infonaut.space from the address you used.
  • Use the support form.

Ask from the email address on the account so we can confirm it’s you.

What happens then

We remove the personal data tied to your email — your lead record, your audits and report links, and any membership task history. Once erased, your private report links stop working, so save any PDF you want to keep first.

We also delete data automatically over time in line with our Privacy Policy. You don’t have to wait for that — ask any time. For the full picture of what we collect and why, see GDPR & data processing.

Frequently asked questions

How do I delete my KnowLocal data?

Reply to any KnowLocal email (or use the support form) and ask us to erase your data, from the email address on the account. We remove the personal data tied to that email and confirm when it’s done.

Will my report still work after deletion?

No — erasing your data removes your stored reports, so the private links stop working. Download any PDF you want to keep before you ask us to delete.

Do you keep my data forever if I don’t ask?

No. We delete data automatically over time in line with our Privacy Policy, and immediately on request.
